I am not sure of KSG
but as an EDEN IAS student IAS I'm able to give more details about this.
Some general tips and information before you make a decision to join any
institute of coaching for UPSC IAS
Coaching in Delhi.
Lakshya – 2 Years | 3
Years Foundation Course is the first-ever course in India – planned for
undergraduate UPSC aspirants. There was a time when people use to consider the
IAS Exam preparation after they get their Graduation or Master’s degree and use
to get ideally 12 Months to prepare for the Civil Services examination.
·
They're not going to
be the teachers in your school who will explain the basics of concepts, so
you're expected to be able to read at least the NCERT prior to taking your exam.
·
They'll be focused
on how quickly they finish the course within the time of their
course. There's an opportunity that you'll wind feeling frustrated if you
do not meet their speed.
·
It is time-bound to
finish the syllabus, in 70%-80% of cases, they will not receive individual
attention.
·
There is a
the chance that you'll begin to avoid the class quite frequently.
We
are now discussing how great IAS is EDEN IAS-
·
Current Affairs
Monthly Magazine- The content is similar like the other coaching institutes; it
contains nearly all of the most important events from the
viewpoint. However, their font size is too small to be to read for long
periods of time.
·
The printed notes on
various topics from GS. The content is excellent however there isn't an Index
page in the majority of the publications, which makes it difficult to identify
the page number for an individual sub-topic. A few booklets such as the
one on economics and polity are filled with information and are meticulously
studied (both subject areas were taught in the classroom by EDEN IAS). The
ones on Indian and world history are prone to numerous printing errors (even
though corrections are made at the end of each subject covered in the class
with the help of the class teacher).
·
Faculty- Excellent
for government and history Excellent for geography, excellent for history
(because the instructor is very fast, read the topics that he has planned for
the next day prior to attending the class) defines and ethics. Other
students are fine for 3 Years IAS foundation Course
·
Personal attention
(classroom questions) Do not expect that your school has personal attention to
monitoring your daily class performance. I will discuss classroom
questions; TIRTHANKAR ROY sir who teaches the subjects of economy and
politics gives 10 minutes at the end of each subject for students to discuss
their questions. Alongside him, the instructors for ethics, history, and
governance spend time answering the questions.
·
Classroom strength
isn’t quite as large as OTHER. About 300 students per class.
The number of students decreases after 3-4 months, as the majority of students are
not regular). However, the teacher has the ability to observe each student.
·
Test series-
excellent (in fact any test series of an accredited institution of coaching is
similarly great). Each test uploaded through the student portal is up and
running for only 24 hours.
·
Fee structure- visit
their official website. Their course for GS alone will cost around
1,56,000 which is quite expensive.
I hope that I have satisfactorily addressed the
question. You can rely on your efforts Be confident, stay determined.
All the best: TEAM EDEN IAS
