Uterine Swollen:

When the uterus of a woman starts to enlarge during pregnancy, it is known as uterine swollen. However, there are several reasons behind the swelling of the uterus. Swelling of the uterus can be more painful for women. It can be the reason behind bleeding that is not a good sign for the health of the mother and baby. Symptoms:

An enlarged uterus is a medical condition and women should know the symptoms of this disorder. However, Uterine swollen symptoms are so easy to understand. In other words, swelling in the uterus may arise several symptoms like:

·         Unethical/abnormal menstrual cycle (heavy bleeding, cramping, etc)

·         Heaviness in the lower abdomen

·         Anaemia (because of the heavy bleeding)

In the beginning, most of the women are not aware of the enlarged uterus. They mostly recognize this condition during a pelvic examination. However, several reasons/factors are responsible for the enlarged uterus in women. Here are the major causes behind an enlarged uterus:

·         Uterine fibroids: - Usually, fibroids are the most common reason behind an enlarged uterus. Luckily, these fibroids are known as non-cancerous. These are the kinds of small lumps that can increase several pounds in the body. They are mostly found on the uterus walls. Due to fibroids, women may have pain and irregular menstrual cycles.

·         Adenomyosis: - It is also known as a non-cancerous situation like fibroids. Usually, this condition occurs in the lining and muscle wall of the uterus. This may cause pain and swelling during menstrual cycles. In such conditions, women should choose a test tube baby centre. Here, fertility specialists can resolve the causes and symptoms of an enlarged uterus.

·         PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome): - It is also another reason behind the enlarged uterus. During PCOS, women have to experience hormonal problems like an absent menstrual cycle and decreasing endometrial lining of the woman's womb. However, it is also another important reason behind the swelling of the uterus.

·         Endometrial cancer: - However, it is one of the most critical causes of the enlarged uterus. As per the recent study, endometrial cancer is found between 55 to 64 ages in women. But, it is also an important reason behind the enlarged uterus.

·         Menopause and ovarian cysts: - Menopause is a situation that arises due to the fluctuation of hormones in the body. On the other hand, ovarian cysts develop outside/inside the ovary. Both these situations are the causes of an enlarged uterus.

Several women exactly don’t know about the enlarged uterus. First of all, without physical examination or tests, it is not possible to examine the enlarged size of the uterus. If women are experiencing any of the above symptoms, they should meet the gynaecologists/doctors. A doctor will perform some physical tests and diagnose the exact problem. Sometimes, an enlarged uterus can be rectified through specific medications. But, when the situation is out of control, the doctor will perform other methods.

After diagnosing the problem, the doctor will perform the right treatment as per your health conditions. First of all, it is necessary to know the exact cause behind an enlarged uterus. Afterwards, treatment can be performed like:

·         Most of the women don’t require any specific treatment for the bigger size of the uterus. Some medications are enough to get relief from the pain and heavy bleeding. Few birth control pills and IUDs (intrauterine devices) including progesterone are enough to resolve the symptoms.

·         In rare cases, the doctor performs a hysterectomy if there is any uterine cancer, blocked fallopian tubes, and ovulation dysfunction.
